Dave West

Strategic Partner

Dave West is a Strategic Partner of Christopher Edwards Financial Associates. His career started at a Guardian firm in 2010, where he learned the protection strategies surrounding advanced insurance planning. Over the last 15 years, he has cultivated that process and added expertise in implementing additional tax strategies for business owners and high net worth individuals.

Dave holds his Life and Health Insurance licenses. Recognized for his expertise in the custom- qualified plan design and pension space, Dave was asked to speak on a national stage for the Independent Agency Owner Alliance National “Innovation 2021” Conference. Dave has qualified for numerous Leaders Clubs across various insurance carriers as well as Million Dollar Round Table as part of Top of the Table 2023, an industry organization of elite producers. Dave serves as the VP of Government Affairs for the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA-NJ). He was also awarded the New Agent of the Year Award in 2013.

Dave graduated from the University of Albany with a bachelor’s of arts in psychology. Dave is not only an exceptional professional, but also an exceptional father and friend to many. Dave resides in Toms River, NJ and is happily married to his wife Christine and is an amazing dad to their children Alexa, Jack, Axel, and Brooks.
